Nathan and Brittany love the Romanian people very much! Both of their hearts are stirred with compassion for this hurting country. It has been 20 years since the Romanian revolution, but the corruption, economic instability, and poverty made worse by Communism are still very much a problem.
Romania is one of the most receptive European countries to the gospel, yet the southern part of the country is considered one of the least-reached areas of South Central Europe. Because of a desire to see all people groups worship the Creator God, the Garrett’s feel specifically called to the unreached people living in the southern part of the country. They are very excited for what God will do among the people of Romania.
Ministry Focus: Church Planting
Andy is a missionary called to partner in fulfilling the Great Commission by helping others connect with God and be further discipled in prayer, worship, and biblical teaching. They want to see the Body of Christ encouraged, equipped, and empowered to do the will of God by walking in the revelation of who God is and who we are to Him. Andy, Vina, and their four daughters live in Arlington.
The Cervenka’s are honored and humbled to be serving the Lord in Japan, a nation with less than 1% Christians. They currently live in Tokyo, which represents the largest concentration of unbelievers that the world has ever seen. Depression and suicide are rampant and they long to see the hope of Christ invade the darkness. The Cervenka’s focus on sharing the gospel with those who don’t know Jesus and equipping local believers to do the same. Their goal is to see many new churches planted in Tokyo and beyond.
